  2. You need 1 cup sooji/rava/semonila
  3. Get 1/2 cup curd

Instructions to make Rava Kanchipuram Idli:
  1. In large bowl add rava, curd, water, salt, baking soda and mix well. Let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
  2. For tempering - heat a pan and add oil. When oil is hot add hing - mustard seeds - urad Dal - pepper - green chillies - ginger - curry leaves - turmeric - Cashew. Roast well.
  3. Pour tempering to the batter and mix well.
  4. Grease the Idli stand with some oil and pour batter in it.
  5. Steam Idli for 15-20 minutes. First 5 minutes on high flame and next 15 minutes on medium flame.
  6. After 20 minutes switch off the flame and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  7. Take out idlis from the stand and serve hot with coconut and curry leaves chutney.
