The ingredients needed to make Fried Pomfret:

  2. Provide 2 Pomfrets (white)
  3. Get 1 tablespoon Ginger paste
  4. Get 2 tablespoons Garlic paste
  5. Get 1/2 teaspoon seeds Carom (ajwain)
  6. Get 1 Lemon juice lemon -full
  7. You need Saltto taste
  8. Provide 4 tablespoons Oil- +1 teaspoon
  9. Take 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  10. Provide 2 teaspoons masala Tandoori powder - ( optional )
  11. You need 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  12. Use 1/2 teaspoon mango powder Dry  (amchur)

  14. Use 6 - 7 Cherry tomatoes -pieces  (optional )
  15. Get 1 Onions -big (cut into 2 inch cube )
Instructions to make Fried Pomfret:
  1. Clean fish and make incisions with sharp knife.
  2. Take a bowl, combine red chilli powder, salt, 1 teaspoon  oil, lemon juice, coriander  powder,dry mango powder,corn flour,garam masala powder,tandoori  powder,ginger  paste and garlic paste,mix and make a paste.
  3. Coat fishes  thoroughly both sides and inside the incisions.
  4. Cover the fish and leave it to marinate for 1-2 hours.
  5. Place flat tawa or pan and heat  up oil on medium flame.
  6. Heat up 4 tablespoons   oil on medium  heat. Place the marinated fish on hot tawa, fry the promfret  pieces until 1 side is golden, about 4-5 minutes. Flip over and pan fry the other side. When both sides are golden, remove from heat and drain on kitchen towel to remove excess oil.
  7. Fry the cheery  tomatoes  and cubed onions.
  8. Serve with fried cherry tomatoes and onions.
