The ingredients needed to cook Fried Rice:
- Use 5 cups basmati rice
- Prepare 2 large Carrots
- Provide Shrimps
- Get 1 cup Green Peas
- Take 1 cup sweet corn

- Prepare 1 tbsp. curry powder
- Provide 1 tsp garlic and ginger paste

Steps to make Fried Rice:
- Heat up enough water in a pot; once the water is boiling hot, add basmati rice and parboil for about 5 to 8 minutes, wash and drain in a sieve and set aside
- When preparing the vegetables: Wash all the vegetables. Dice the onion, peel the carrots and dice in cubes and set aside
- Heat up the vegetable Oil; add the onion, after a minute add garlic and ginger, then add the shrimps and stir fry for about 5 minutes then add pepper and after 4minutes, add carrots, peas, red kidney beans, then add a little curry, knorr cube to taste. Stir fry for 1 min and remove from heat.
- The Rice is going to be fried in small batches, so you’ll have to divide the stir-fried vegetables into equal portions. The size of your frying pan will determine how many portions you will have. Pour a portion of the stir-fried mix into the frying pan; add the cooked rice
- Mix everything together and allow to cook for another 3mins so your vegetables will still be crunchy; turn off heat and serve with grilled chicken
