The ingredients needed to prepare Ragda Vadapav:
- Use For making Ragda-
- Use 1 cup Boiled white peas / vatana / safed matar
- Prepare to taste Salt
- Get 1/2 tsp green chilli, ginger and garlic paste
- Get as required Water
- Take 1 tsp red chilli powder
- Get 1/2 tsp haldi powder
- You need 1 tsp dhaniya jeera and garam masala powder
- Use 1 tsp panipuri masala powder
- Use 2 tsp oil
- You need Pinch hing
- Get 1/2 tsp jeera
- Provide For stuffing-
- Get 4-5 boiled potatoes
- Get as required Chopped coriander
- You need as required All dry masala
- You need As per taste Chat masala
- Take 1/2 lemon juice
- Use 1/2 tsp green chilli, ginger and garlic paste
- You need For Tadka-
- Provide 1 tsp oil
- Get 1/2 tsp jeera and dhaniya seeds
- Get 200 grams besan flour
- Use as required All dry masalas
- You need Pinch hing
- Provide as required Water as required
- Provide 1/2 tsp green chilli, ginger and garlic paste
- Provide as per taste Chat masala
- You need packet Ready made pav
- Use as required Hara Dhaniya and pudina chutney
- Prepare as needed Sweet chutney
- Prepare 1 Chopped onion
- Provide Some Chopped coriander leaves
Instructions to make Ragda Vadapav:
- Firstly take 1 cup soaked white peas, add salt. pressure cook for 5 whistles.
- Now in a large kadai heat 2 tsp oil add jeera and hing. Add 1 tsp ginger garlic and chilli paste. Salute for 30 sec. Add boiled white peas. Add 1 boiled potato. furthermore add ¼ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp coriander powder, ¼ tsp cumin powder, ¼ tsp garam masala. Add salt to taste. Mix it well. Cook for 1 min. Add water and as required. Cook for 5 min low flame. Ragda is ready.
- For stuffing : In a large bowl add boiled potatoes, all dry masalas, chat masala, chopped coriander, lemon juice. Add tadka : 1 tsp oil, hing and add jeera and dhaniya seeds. Mix it well.
- Take one pav and apply potato mixture. Apply mixture in all pav.
- Take Another bowl and add besan, all dry masalas, chat masala and green chilli, ginger and garlic paste. Add water as required. Mix it well.
- Take pav having mixture and dip in to the besan and deep fry.
- Cook for 5-6 min in low flame.
- Serve with Green coriander and pudina chutney and sweet chutney. Garnish with chopped coriander and onions.
