  1. Provide 1 cup whole Urad dal
  2. Get 1 tsp Rice flour
  3. Prepare 1 Onion finely chopped
  4. Provide 1 cup Spinach finely chopped
  5. Take 1 tsp Ginger chopped
  6. Use 1/4 tsp Hing
  7. Provide 1 Green chilli finely chopped
  8. Take 1/4 tsp Pepper powder
  9. Provide 1/2 cup Coriander leaves chopped
  10. Take As needed Salt
  11. Get As needed Sunflower oil
Instructions to make Palak Vadai:
  1. Wash urad dal for 3 times. Soak in cold water for 2 to 3 hours. Don't soak less or more. - - Wash urad dal again grind into smooth paste by adding 4tbsp of water. Don't add too much of water then the batter will be very runny.
  2. Once the batter done add chopped onion, ginger, green chilli, spinach, coriander leaves, hing, pepper powder, rice flour and salt. Mix together and keep aside. - - Heat enough oil for deep fry. Reduce the flame to medium. Once oil hot take a scoop of batter in hand just do the flat shape put little hole in middle and drop into the oil.
  3. Fry both sides and dry in the paper towel. Serve hot with coconut chutney.
