The ingredients needed to cook Palak Paneer | Cottage Cheese with Spinach Gravy:
- You need 2 cups : Spinach
- You need 1 cup : cubed paneer
- Take 3-4 cloves : garlic
- Take 1 onion : pureed
- You need 2 tomatoes : pureed
- Take to taste Salt :
- Use 2 : green chillies
- Provide 1 tbsp : ginger
- Get 1/2 tbsp : garam masala
- Provide 1/4 tsp : kasturi methi
- You need 2 tbsp : oil/ghee
Steps to make Palak Paneer | Cottage Cheese with Spinach Gravy:
- Wash and blanch spinach leaves and keep aside. Keep the watwr also aside.
- Now puree garlic, ginger and green chillies.
- In a thick bottom pan, add oil/ghee.
- Add ginger garlic paste.
- Saute well. Now add onion puree and saute until it turns light brown.
- Then add tomato puree and cook well till oil seperates. Add salt.
- Add spinach puree and little leftover water in the gravy.
- Cook untill u get right consistency.
- Now add garam masala and crushed kasturi methi and cubed paneer.
- Cover and cook for 2 mins and serve hot with paratha, roti or rice.
