  1. Provide 1/2 cup all-purpose Flour/ Maida
  2. Get 1/4 cup atta(wheat flour)

  1. For the Matri - in a bowl add Maida, Ata, Besan, Ajwain, Ghee, salt and mix well
  2. Add chilled water and make a tight dough. Cover with a cloth for 20 mins
  3. Roll with a rolling pin and cut the sides with a knife. Make a square.
  4. Make insertions diagonally and roll carefully so as not to break. Cut the edges
  5. In a wok heat oil and on medium-low flame carefully add the matris to fry. Don’t flip the sides often as it might break. Fry until golden in colour and set aside
  6. Heat water and add tea leaves. Switch off the flame. Add milk and pour into cup. Add Kesar and plate
  7. To plate add the Tea in the centre and garnish with cardamoms and place the matris. Enjoy hot
