Instructions to make Shahi tikki:
- Grate the boiled potatoes in a bowl add soaked poha and rice flour into it and mix nicely with your hands.
- Now take a slice of bread cut the edges and use the white portion of it.
- Now take small pieces of bread and mix in potato mixture and keep aside.
- Now make stuffing:
- Take a pan heat oil add jeera crackel then add boiled peas and mix.
- Now add 1 boiled potato for binding then add salt,red chilli powder,chat masala and mix well.
- Now add kaju and kishmish and off the gas add chopped corinder leaves and mix keep aside for cooling.
- Making of tikki:
- Put some oil on hands rub take a piece from potato mixture and flat it and then add some stuffing and close it slowly so that tikki does not break,make all like that.
- Now heat oil in a pan for frying tikki add one by one tikki and fry from both side till crisp.Make all like that
- Platting: Now take a plate keep tikki and break from between add curd,green chutney,imli chutney,salt,jeera powder,chat masala on it.
- Now garnish with sev, chopped onion and chopped coriander leaves
