- Take 3-4 sliced onions
- Use 12-15 cashew nuts
- Prepare 6-8 garlic cloves
- Provide 1 teaspoon ginger paste

- Use 4-5 tablespoon curd
- Provide 1/2 cup cream or malai
- Take 50 gm khoya
Steps to make Malai kofta (in white curry):
- Grate paneer and boiled potatoes.
- Add soaked poha, salt, cardamom powder, black pepper powder and corn flour.
- Mash well with palm and prepare dough like form.
- Prepare round balls from it. Take a ball, flatten it, put 2-3 raisins and cashew nuts in the centre and seal it.
- Make all koftas like this.
- Deep fry in hot oil till golden brown. Keep aside.
- In a pan boil enough water and add sliced onions, cashew nuts, garlic cloves and green chillies.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes. Cool down and grind in mixer grinder and make smooth paste.
- Now in a pan heat oil and butter. Add cumin seeds.
- When cumin seeds change it's colour add cloves, cinnamon stick, big cardamom and green cardamom. Saute for few seconds.
- Add grounded onion cashew nuts paste and khoya. Saute on low flame till oil seperates.
- Add beaten curd and cook for sometimes.
- Add cream or malai and mix well.
- Add required water to get desired consistency.
- Add salt, sugar, black pepper powder and kasoori methi.
- Mix well, cover with lid and simmer for 4-5 minutes.
- Off the flame, add koftas.
- Delicious malai kofta is ready to serve. Enjoy with Paratha or nan.
