- Wash and soak black grams for 5-6hrs. Drain water before use.In a pressure cooker put all the ingredients except dry fenugreek leaves.Add 3/4 cup of water, mix. Close lid. keep on high flame till 1 whistle and then lower the flame and cook till 15 minutes or till Chanais done.
- Open the pressure cooker mix everything together and evaporate the water on high flame, keep stirring in between.
- When water evaporates completely and all the other ingredients are well cooked add 1-1/2 cups of water to it to make gravy.
- To the gravy add dry and crushed fenugreek leaves, coriander leaves. Boil it for 3-4 minutes. Kaale channel is ready to serve.
