- Use 2 cups rice
- Get 1/2 cup urad dal

- Soak the rice, dal and fenugreek seeds in water for at least 6 hours or overnight.
- Wash them properly and grind them to a smooth batter.
- Leave the batter to ferment for about 6 hours.
