- Wash and marinate the fish with salt and turmeric powder
- Add oil in a heated pan
- Deep fry the fish from both the sides and keep aside
- Now temper the jeera seeds,bay leaf and whole garam masalas
- Add chopped onions and saute adding salt, turmeric powder and red chilli Powder
- Now pour the masala juices and saute till the raw smell disappears
- Add little water and allow it to boil
- Add the fish and cover,so that the fish become soft and juicy
- Finally add garam masala powder and remove from oven
