- Take 100 gms Rui fish
- Prepare 1 medium size potato
- Provide 1 medium size onion grated

- Wash the fish pieces and In a bowl heat water and boil the fish. Debone and set aside. Peel and cut potatoes and set aside.
- Mash the boiled fish and add grated onion, ginger paste, chopped green chillies, besan and salt. Mix well and make balls
- Fry the Fish balls or Kofta
- Fry the potatoes
- In a bowl add grated onion, ginger paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, vinegar and salt. Mix well and add 1/4 cup water. In a wok heat oil, add bay leaf, cumin seeds and add the spice in water and cook until oil leaves surface.
- Add fried potatoes and add water. Keep the flame in low and cover so that potatoes are fully cooked.
- Add fried fish balls or Kofta to the cooked potatoes curry
- Plate and enjoy with steamed rice
