Healthy eating is today a lot more popular than it used to be and rightfully so. The overall economy is impacted by the number of men and women who suffer from health problems such as high blood pressure, which is directly linked to poor eating habits. Even though we’re incessantly being advised to adopt healthy eating habits, it is also easier than ever to rely on fast food and other convenience items that are not good for us. Most likely, most people assume that it takes a great deal of work to eat healthily and that they will need to drastically change their lifestyle. In reality, however, just making a few small changes can positively affect day-to-day eating habits.
You can make similar changes with the oils that you use for cooking your food. For instance, monounsaturated fat such as olive oil can help to offset the bad cholesterol in your diet. Olive oil is also a rich source of Vitamin E which has numerous benefits and is also good for your skin. Even though you may already eat a great deal of fruits and veggies, you may want to consider how fresh they are. Organic foods are an excellent choice and will reduce any possible exposure to harmful pesticides. Looking for a local supplier of fresh vegetables and fruits will give you the option of consuming foods that still contain almost all of the nutrients which are usually lost when produce has been kept in storage before it is sold.
As you can see, it is easy to begin making healthy eating a regular part of your daily lifestyle.

- cut your package of bacon directly in half so you have half slices.
- fry bacon according to directions. we like it best for the toasty's when bacon is very crisp but not to hard where you can't bite it… lol.
- meanwhile take your bread and place in toaster and toast to desired doneness. to light though.the bead is still soft and itll get soggy
- spread a small amount of butter on each piece of toast on one side.
- spread desired amount of grape jelly on top of the toast. I like only a little but put as much as you like.
- now place 4-5 slices of bacon on top of half the jellied toast
- place other halfs on top of bacon jelly side down.
- serve alone or with eggs or pancakes or both…
- makes about 3 bacon toasty's. I've tried this with other flavor jelly but it just doesn't taste as good.
- instead of bread you could also do fresh hot biscuits!
