The ingredients needed to prepare Tomato Paratha:
  1. Use 1 cup Atta (whole wheat flour)
  2. Prepare to taste salt
  3. Prepare 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  4. Take 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  5. Take 1 tbsp oil to knead
  6. Take 2 tomatoes puree
  7. Provide as needed oil to shallow fry
Instructions to make Tomato Paratha:
  1. In a bowl, sift the Atta and knead a tight dough with salt, 1 tbsp. oil, red chilli powder, garam masala and the tomato puree. Keep aside for 25-30 minutes. Divide into equal portions.
  2. Roll out each portion into a circle, Brush with some oil & sprinkle little flour. Fold over from two opposite sides as shown.
  3. And again fold from two ends as shown. Roll into a square shape paratha by dusting some flour. Roll out the rest of the dough in the same way & shallow fry on both sides till light golden in colour.
