  1. Use 1/2 catori Rava (suji)
  2. Get 1/2 cup dates gur or normal gur grated
  3. Provide 1+1/2 cup water
  4. Prepare 1/4 cup Desi ghee(use pure cow milk ghee)
  5. Prepare Nuts optional
Steps to make Rava n Gur Halwa:
  1. Collect all ingredients.
  2. Take two pans. In one pan add water plus jaggery, boil to make a syrup. In second pan take Desi ghee n roast Rava for few minutes.Switch off the flame. Add jaggery syrup n cook on slow flame till all water dries up n halwa is done.
  3. Be careful while adding jaggery syrup.
  4. Once halwa is done serve as it is or garnish with nuts.
