- Provide 1 cup Green moong dal
- Prepare 1/2 cup Yellow moong dal
- Provide 2 tbsp Chana dal
- You need as per taste Salt
- Provide 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
- You need 1-2 green chillies
- Take 1/2 inch Ginger
- Use 5-6 pods Garlic
- Provide 1 tsp jeera (cumin seeds)
- Take 1 tbsp Dhaniya Seeds
- Use 1/8 tsp Hing
Steps to make Moong Dal Chilla (Pancake):
- Wash and soak dal for 4-5 hours. Strain water.
- Take a mixer jar put dal, salt, green chilli, red chilli powder, ginger, garlic,hing, jeera, dhaniya seeds,two tbsp water and grind it. The batter should be little coarsely ground.
- Making Chillas: Spread batter on preheated pan. Make desired size and shape.
- Cook with or without oil as desired. Turn sides every few seconds till it cooks evenly on both sides.
- Turn gas off. And serve it with tomato sauce.
