The ingredients needed to make Methi Ladoo / Fenugreek Ladoo:
- Use 500 grams Wheat flour
- Get 200 grams Fenugreek seeds
- Provide 100 grams Edible gum
- Prepare 1/2 cup Coconut grated
- Take 1/2 cup Walnut (Chopped)
- Take 1/4 cup Melon seeds
- Provide 300 grams Jaggery
- Use 300 ml Milk
- Get 400 grams Clarified butter (Ghee)
Steps to make Methi Ladoo / Fenugreek Ladoo:
- Grind fenugreek seeds and soak it in milk for 7-8 hours when the laddu will be made.
- Fenugreek will get doubled after 8 hours.
- Heat 250 gm ghee in a kadhai take the fenugreek(Methi) batter with the help of a spoon, fry it just like we fry any regular Pakoda,
- When all the Pakodas are ready, cool them and grind them into a mixer.
- Fry the gum in the same kadhai and after cooling it blend it in the mixer.
- Now roast the walnuts, Coconut and melon seeds one by one. Take it out in a vessel
- Now put the rest of the ghee in this Kadhi and fry the wheat flour on a low flame, stirring it from time to time.
- When the aroma starts coming out of the wheat flour and colour is golden brown, make some space in the middle of the kadhai and press the jaggery inside it.
- After 5 to 7 minutes, with the help of a big spoon mix the jaggery into the flour. It will be melted easily by getting the heat of flour. - At this time we will close our gas.
- Add the gum and fenugreek, coconut, melon seeds and walnuts, mix well and let it cool down, then we will make the laddoos
- Fenugreek laddus are ready.
